W.D. Matthews takes great pride in being part of the community in which they operate business. Community matters as they are our customers, relatives friends, employees, and neighbors. Each year the Kora Shriners in Lewiston Maine holds its annual Feztival of Trees event to help the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children. This great event draws thousands each year to view the beautiful trees set up by local businesses that can be won by the lucky winners at the end of event. This event is very important as W.D. Matthews lost a great employee and friend who was a member of the Kora Shriners. A 45 year employee of W.D. Matthews, Russell Marston lost his battle with cancer in 2014. Each year W.D. Matthews enters a tree dedicated in memory of our friend and colleague Russ. Please join us and the other business in the community to help a great cause during Thanksgiving week and you may be the one who could not only take home a fully decorated tree, but all the gifts under the tree as well. A great event for young and old.
