Job Description

Job Summary

Shipping/Receiving personnel report directly to Parts Management and are responsible for packing, shipping and receiving inventory on a daily basis. The position will handle inventory in the form of forklift and aerial lift equipment parts and accessories. The job requires attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work based on the urgency of outgoing and incoming shipments. The ideal applicant will have a high level of computer ability and be incredibly detail oriented to assure accurate shipments are made to meet the needs of our customers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Pick and pack parts from on-screen and paper sales orders, transfer orders and picking lists.
  • Receive inventory from on-screen purchase orders and replenish physical inventory as needed from these shipments.
  • Conduct re-ship activity, receiving parts in to one side of the bench and shipping out on the other side of the bench with speed and accuracy.
  • Pick stock transfers to branch locations as well as service van locations on a weekly basis.
  • Track all back-order situations and missed shipments for communication to Parts Dept Staff.
  • Work with Parts Counter Staff routinely to solve issues and ensure accurate shipping is achieved.
  • Help to conduct physical inventory via cycle counting and conventional counting.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of inventory and inventory locations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized parts warehouse in day to day operations.
  • Drive Forklift to aid in receiving and loading inventory.11. Other duties as assigned.

Equipment Mechanic / Shop Service Technician

Shrewsbury, MA

Salary: $16.00 to $20.00 /hour

Job Summary

The Equipment Mechanic / Shop Service Technician is responsible for timely repair to forklifts and various other equipment in the Auburn Shop Location. The equipment a Shop Service Technician is expected to maintain or repair includes, but is not limited to, gas, diesel, propane and electric powered forklifts as well as aerial lift and manlift equipment.

Shift- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities and Duties

Prepare equipment records and report both manually and on a computer

Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to light, medium, and heavy duty equipment

Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation required

Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures

Inspect and perform work on and under pieces of equipment

Access any area of the equipment to perform necessary maintenance

Move parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on equipment

Perform other duties as required

Qualifications and Skills

At least 2 years’ experience performing vehicle/equipment maintenance or possess auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school

Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email

Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)

Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly

Must provide some small tools, tool allowance provided after 1 year of service

Equipment Mechanic / Road Service Technician

Salary: $18.00 to $24.00 /hour

The Equipment Mechanic / Road Service Technicianis responsible for timely repair to forklifts and various other equipment at various customer locations. The equipment a Road Service Technician is expected to maintain or repair includes, but is not limited to, gas, diesel, propane and electric powered forklifts as well as aerial lift and manlift equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare equipment records and report both manually and on a computer
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to light, medium, and heavy duty equipment
  • Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation required
  • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures

  • Interact with clients through both email or phone as necessary
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 2 years experience performing vehicle/equipment maintenance or must possess auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school
  • Must have valid Drivers License- Class C
  • Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
  • Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly
  • Must provide some small tools, tool allowance provided after 1 year of service
