Front Desk Receptionist- Auburn, Maine 

JOB SUMMARY

The Auburn Maine office of WD Matthews has an immediate opening for a Front Desk Receptionist. This person is responsible for answering, screening, and transferring phone calls, as well as assisting other branch department personnel on a day-to-day basis. This candidate must work well as part of a team and maintain a positive and upbeat attitude. The ideal applicant will have strong computer ability and be detail oriented to assure accuracy. The right candidate will also have strong multi-tasking abilities.

  • Responsibilities and Duties

    • Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
    • Receive and direct visitors and clients
    • General clerical duties
    • Preparing Sales quotes on various equipment portals
    • Using price pages and Excel to prepare Sales quotes
    • Produce Equipment billing
    • Coordinate and maintain records

    Qualifications and Skills

    Education and Experience

    • Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping

Equipment Mechanic / Road Service Technician Montpelier, VT

The Equipment Mechanic / Road Service Technician is responsible for timely repair to forklifts and various other equipment at various customer locations. The equipment a Road Service Technician is expected to maintain or repair includes, but is not limited to, gas, diesel, propane and electric powered forklifts as well as aerial lift and man-lift equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare equipment records and report both manually and on a computer
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to light, medium, and heavy duty equipment
  • Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation required
  • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
  • Inspect and perform work on the under parts of equipment
  • Access any area of the equipment to perform necessary maintenance
  • Move parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on equipment
  • Interact with clients through both email or phone as necessary
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 2 years experience performing vehicle/equipment maintenance or must possess auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school
  • Must have valid Drivers License- Class C
  • Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
  • Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly
  • Must provide some small tools, tool allowance provided after 1 year of service
